Here you will find our range of creative and active outdoor day activities for spring 2024.
Also possible on request for groups, team buildings or birthday parties.
Apr-Oct: kickbikeride & visit to a brewery
Every Saturday you can enjoy a kickbike ride throught the beautiful Ijse valley combined with a guided visit to a local brewery (De Kroon). Afterwards you are offered to taste one of the beers in the beer cellar.
23/4: kick bike search in Overijse
On Heritage Day you can discover the alleys in Overijse by kick bike. Discover fascinating stories and forgotten street names in an (inter)active way with the Heritage App. Departure from Dru!f at 10am or 1pm. Free, in collaboration with the Overijse Tourism Office.
2/5: geo café
Monthly geocafé from 6 p.m. in our cozy outdoor area: for geocachers but also friends and interested parties are welcome. With delicious regional beers, local lemonades, organic apple juice and hot drinks. Combined with a cleanup of the Ijse on March 7 (16h30).
April-Oct: canoe rental on the Dyle
On request you can rent one of our canoes for a beautiful daytrip on the Dyle in Huldenberg, Leuven and the surrounding area. Only for families and small groups and with or without supervision. Small-scale, personal approach. Including individual instructions and return transport.
7/4: Duckwing's Dyle cleanup
Clean up the Dijle in Huldenberg together, by canoe and in a small group. All material (grippers, bags, vest,...) is provided by us. You can also participate on foot! After the previous successful editions, we are making it a great day again. Next date: Sat 19/10. #rivercleanup #mooimakers.be
6/11: pyrography workshop
Unleash your creativity on wood! After an explanation and an initiation, you will work on a practice disc and then on a beautiful wooden disc to make your own sustainable creation. You can create something yourself or choose from one of our images. A nice gift for yourself or a loved one!
30/11 + 15/12: workshop "Swedish torch"
Workshop in which you learn to make your own Swedish torch (fire basket), but also learn about its origins, how to handle fire safely, about different types of wood,... Back to basics. We end with marshmallows and a drink around a communal fire. Also fun as a parent-child activity!
workshop "bee hotel"
During this workshop you will learn many facts about the mysterious world of bees, butterflies and insects and you will get to work on creating a beautiful, sturdy hotel. A fun, educational afternoon for all ages. Can also be done as a parent-child activity.
workshop "bird feeder"
Learn to make a sustainable feeding house that you can refill yourself again and again. A fun workshop next to our wood stove and a gift for the birds during cold days.
4/11: "birdhouse" workshop
Together with naturalist Frank, you will make a beautiful, sturdy birdhouse for your garden and learn a lot about nature and the world of birds. A creative, educational and sustainable workshop for young and old!
initiation geocaching (RQ)
Join us on a treasure hunt: geocaching with an expert! This activity can be arranged on request for your family, with some colleagues, friends,...
