Do you focus on sustainable entrepreneurship?

Absolute! Our mission is to bring people closer to nature and become more aware of its richness. Sustainable and local entrepreneurship is extremely important to us. An overview:
*we use 100% green energy
*we focus on re- and upcycling, both in front of and behind the scenes
*we installed several green roofs at our location
*there is a naturally managed garden at our location with bee hotels, bird and squirrel feeders, bat boxes,...
*we organize workshops to make these animal houses and thus spread our mission
*while sawing wood and bamboo we collect the sawdust and use it in our eco toilet
*during the tree climbing workshops we use extra bark protectors to avoid damaging the trees
*we encourage you to come to our activities by bicycle or public transport
*everything is sorted and we also ask this of participants and guests in our tipi
*we use as little plastic as possible
*our outdoor shower uses filtered rainwater
*in addition to a rain well , we have several rain barrels so that we have enough to get through a dry summer without using tap water for our garden and plants
*we use ecological cleaning products, eco toilet and kitchen paper, soap,...
*we organize cleanups several times a year: there is our Duckwing's Dijle cleanup with canoes (also available on request for companies) and also a regular litter campaign in and next to the Ijse.
*for additional fencing we chose tree bark mats : this is a waste product that has not been chemically treated, attracts insects and is therefore an ecological choice
*we support ecological, local and social projects in the area such as Energy Cooperative Druifkracht, Casa Magnolia, Ter Meeren,...
*we support local entrepreneurship : we buy regional beer, local lemonades and organic apple juice from our area, we make our own syrup for the aperitifs,... And we are a board member of "Ondernemen in Huldenberg".

I have never slept in a tent before and therefore hesitate to come along on your weekend...

We have noticed from experience that this is not too bad for most people. It is important to ensure warmth and comfort, but we also provide tips in advance and you can rent equipment from us.
Is your budget a bit larger and are you looking for a similar weekend with permanent accommodation on site? That is possible, just contact us and we will be happy to work something out at another location (for the time being only on request for groups of 10 to 20 people).

I have another question...
